Our current Big Movers and Suspected Movers tables include many events that you may find interesting, including PDUFA Adcomms, approval decisions, and late stage clinical trial readouts. We have now included events through H1 2023! Keep in mind that we often add companies to the list as days/weeks go by if implied volatility shoots up as a readout gets closer. Thus, the Q32 2023 list might increase or companies may switch from Suspected Movers to Watch to Big Movers.
These "Mover" stock lists are intended to help investors assure that if these stocks are in their portfolios, they make any adjustments to their holdings given the upcoming Mover event, which usually moves a stock price at least 10% and which often is a negative event with respect to stock price.

Every month we identify biotech Big-Mover stocks to watch by identifying catalyst events that should move an underlying stock by at least 20% up or down if clearly positive or negative data is reported. We call these Big-Mover™ catalysts (See our FAQs here).
On 6/29/23 we published our updated Movers list that includes events through the third quarter of the year!
Starting in 2021 we have included a new feature to the Big-Mover List which is the Movers to Watch List. This list includes companies with a readout coming in the next month that from our diligence, appears to be an important readout, but stock market volatility data is not reflecting this. Movers to Watch also include companies that do not have options volatility data but that have an important readout coming. These catalysts might not show a big move currently, but as the month goes on we will continually assess the company volatility to see if any of them become Big Movers.

Last year we added Future Movers to Watch to our analysis. We have been scouring the BPIQ.com database to determine readouts through the second half of 2023 that we believe will be Movers to Watch (and possibly become Big Movers as dates get closer). As with Big Movers and Movers to Watch for the current month, these stocks may move substantially higher OR LOWER. As these readouts get closer, we will analyze the volatility data to determine if any of these Movers to Watch become Big Movers. We will also continue to analyze and edit these tables as quarterly reports are made available to determine if catalyst dates have changed or become more precise.
